R&D Background
Faced with the increasingly severe water resource challenges, the utilization of seawater desalination, high-salt wastewater, brackish water and other related resources has become an important direction of industrial development. However, the core energy-saving equipment — the positive displacement isobaric energy recovery device, due to its extremely high technical barriers, has long relied on imports, and is a veritable "bottleneck" technology and product in this field in China.

Product Overview
Leojoin's Positive Displacement Isobaric Energy Recovery Device is R&D and manufactured under the framework of ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 international standards, committed to providing customers with high-quality water resource treatment solutions.
The device transfers the pressure energy in the high-pressure concentrated waste liquid stream of RO to the low-pressure feed water stream through direct contact of liquid piston to realize pressure exchange. It features a highly streamlined structure, with the rotor being the only moving part inside the device.
The ceramic rotor is installed in the cavity formed by the sleeve and two end covers, with precise clearances to generate a nearly frictionless hydrodynamic bearing. In the seawater desalination system, equipped with this device can reduce the capacity of high-pressure pump by 60% and the maximum system energy consumption by up to 60%, which is the core energy-saving equipment for seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) process.
